British Equity is the trade union representing performers, artists creative practitioners and stage managers from across the entire spectrum TV & radio, variety and theatre arts in the UK. Equity and it's committees identify issues, negotiate current working practices and pay, instigating the development of codes of best practice to inform those we work for about fair treatment, health and safety and acceptable working conditions. We are supporting our colleagues in their daily working lives to get the best from their chosen career and not be exploited because you enjoy what you do. Why be a member of Equity? |
